Do I need new cables?

No, production sharing is virtual. Power physically goes to the grid but is calculated as if it goes directly to recipients via Elhub.

Who can be a recipient?

Anyone with a metering point in Norway can be a recipient - neighbors, tenants, family, or businesses. The recipient must approve the sharing via Elhub.

What happens with little sun?

Recipients only get what you actually produce. When production is low, they buy the rest from their regular power company as before.

How is the price set?

You decide the price per kWh yourself. Most choose a price lower than spot to give recipients an advantage, but you can also use market price.

How do I get the billing documentation?

Yes - you can download it from the portal or have it sent to your email automatically every month.

Can I change the agreement?

Yes, you can change distribution, add new recipients, or end sharing at any time. Changes take effect from the next month.
